It was a heart-breaking sight. A ten year old boy in tatters was sitting on the side of the road and crying. I just could not stop myself from going up to him. Scared and terrorised, the poor thing was hardly able to utter a word. I had a hard time trying to convince him to accompany me. With whatever little he spoke, I could make out that he was a case of child abuse. I immediately took him to the office of Wetogethernow. The counselor over there made the child comfortable and extracted all the information from him. He revealed that he was beaten up by his master daily and was made to do all the household work without being given proper food or rest. The members of Wetogethernow took immediate steps and filed a case against the master, who was penalised for his wrong deeds. On the other hand, they also arranged for the living and education of the child.

Wetogethernow also extended an helping hand when one of my friends took an old man there, who had been abandoned by his family. Wetogethernow made the man comfortable, arranged for his accommodation at their old age home, and changed his life. He is now a happy and satisfied individual who had nothing, but blessing for this social organisation.
