Child abuse and care

Child abuse is defined as a non-accidental physical injury, physical neglect, emotional abuse, and sexual abuse. Child abuse effects the overall development of a child, be it brain development, psychopathology, or interpersonal relationships. Child abuse in the form of neglect, physical abuse, and sexual abuse have profound and long-term effects on a child’s development.

More specifically, non-accidental physical injury may include severe beatings, broken bones, bites, strangulation or internal injuries. On the other hand, emotional abuse is a form of abuse which is often not addressed by society and involves parents having expectations, resulting in unreasonable demands upon children beyond their capabilities.

We know today that child abuse usually develops into a pattern of behavior. Children who are abused often grow up to be abusive parents. To curb such a malpractice, our team of counselors and lawyers educate the parents about the effects of child abuse on the minds of their children. We also help both physically and mentally abused children by giving them love and warmth to develop into good human band normal life.
